NOORD GESTOORD 5000 is back!
The fastest and coolest race of 2020 and 2021 will return to the NDSM on Thursday the 25 of august.
STILL NO CLUE what NOORD GESTOORD 5000 is?
The NOORD GESTOORD RACE is an urban running race of 5 kilometers. The course this year is different, but will still be 5 intense laps of 1 kilometer. Because of the short laps the race will be intense and pushes the runners to their max!
The race will take place on the North side of Amsterdam at the old ship wharf called NDSM.
The race consist of 4 different parts/starting times.
First we start with the second edition of the children’s run. For kids between 5 and 8 we have a 900 meter race. The race is free of charge to make it for each kid possible to get moving.
After the children it is time for the grownups. We have 3 different starting times. First we have the recreational runners (NEW). In this starting section everybody is allowed.
After that we have the super fast women and men. To join this race you should be able to run a 5k within 22 min (women) or 19 min (men).

The exact start/finish location will be announced later but will be on the NDSM area.
The route will be different then last year but will be having 5 laps of 1k over the NDSM area.
