THE CLASSIC IS BACK.

There are races. And then there's Noord Gestoord.

For years, this has been one of Amsterdam's most iconic summer races. A fast course. A loud crowd. Music blasting through the streets. Friends turning into rivals. Strangers pushing each other to personal bests. One evening where Amsterdam Noord belongs to runners.

On Sunday, August 23, we're bringing it back.

No 10K. No half marathon. No distractions.

Just one distance. One mission. KNALLEN.

The course consists of five 1-kilometre laps, giving you the perfect chance to lock into your pace—or completely blow yourself up trying. Every lap takes you back through the heart of the event, where the crowd, DJs and finish area keep the energy at its absolute peak.

To make every race competitive, we'll split the field into three heats:

• 20+ minutes

• 18–20 minutes

• Sub 18 minutes

The first heat starts at 19:00, with each race building towards the fastest runners of the night. Whether you're chasing your first sub-20, hunting a PB, or trying to break 18 minutes, you'll be surrounded by runners fighting for exactly the same goal.

But Noord Gestoord has never been just about the clock.

It's about racing shoulder to shoulder. It's about hearing your name shouted from the sidelines. It's about emptying the tank and staying for the atmosphere long after you've crossed the finish line.

Expect DJs, food, drinks, great people and one of the best summer running atmospheres Amsterdam has to offer.
